9:10PM: Polls closed; turnout is heavy

Election returns in Winneshiek County might take a little longer on Tuesday than first expected.

Polls have closed as of 9:00 p.m., but turnout during the day has been described as "heavy."  That will mean additional time for poll workers to complete their work and bring ballot boxes to the Courthouse.
