Construction on Freeport extension of Trout Run Trail delayed another week

Construction on the Freeport extension of Trout Run Trail will NOT begin this week.

The project is getting major funding from a federal government TIGR grant--and the feds haven't gotten the necessary paperwork to Winneshiek County.  Because of that the contract can't be awarded yet to apparent bidder Skyline Construction--so the start of construction will have to wait until next week.
