Calmar Corvette Club donates to Winneshiek Medical Center for diabetes education

The Calmar Corvette Club has donated $4,874 to the Winneshiek Medical Center Foundation for diabetes education.

The money will be used by the hospital to help pay for two youth summer camperships to Camp Hertko Hollow each summer; education materials, pedometers, portion plates for group and individual education, a stand-on digital scale and a glucose monitoring system.

Since 2008, the Calmar Corvette Club has donated over $21,000 towards local diabetes care.
