Humane Society looking for college students to serve as interns

The Humane Society of Northeast Iowa is beginning an internship program for college students at the Love & Friendship Adoption Center, which opens later this fall.

Interns can earn college credit.  Internships will be offered in the areas of Media, Fundraising, Animal Care and Visual Media.  Detailed internship descriptions, application deadlines and an application can be found at http://www.hsnei.org/internships

For high school students and community members there will be several volunteer trainings announced for November and December. The Adoption Center will need many volunteers to care for the animals.
