Letter to the Editor: More about Republicans versus Democrats

(Paul Hunter--an Iowa Farmer--has e-mailed this Letter to the Editor in response to Sondy Carver's previous Letter to the Editor)

"If Sondy Carver is going to pick out one issue as a reason to not vote for someone I guess I can too.  At a fundraiser for his campaign in Texas Bruce Braley was caught on tape lamenting the fact that if Braley loses the election it's possible that "you might have a farmer from Iowa who never went to law school, never practiced law, serving as the next Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee".  
 
So Bruce Braley thinks Iowa farmers aren't smart enough to Chair the Senate Judiciary Committee.  While it is absolutely ridiculous to point to one quote or issue as a reason to decide who to vote for I'll follow Ms. Carver's lead and do it anyway.  After all, I'm just a dumb Iowa farmer."
