Three arrested following Sheriff's Department investigation

Winneshiek County sheriff's deputies have arrested three people after serving a search warrant at a home at 3186 HIghway 139 on Monday.

The search warrant was served because of the Fillmore County Sheriff's Department's investigation into a residential burglary that occurred in Fillmore County.  Winneshiek County sheriff's deputies say they recovered stolen rifles, collectible coins, currency and other items taken during the Fillmore County burglary.

Three suspects have been arrested on First Degree Theft charges, a Class C Felony.  They are Jordan Greensalde of 3186 HIghway 139, Matthew Griffin of 9420 Yankee Avenue in Cresco and Anna Welby of 315 North Elm Street, Apartment #5 in Cresco.  All three are being held in the Winneshiek County Jail.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department, Fillmore County Sheriff's Department, Howard County Sheriff's Department, Cresco Police and the Winneshiek County Attorney's Office all were involved in the investigation.
