Pedestrian accident Friday night in Decorah

A pedestrian was struck by a car on South Mill Street Friday night.

Police say 69-year-old Victoria Harvey was southbound in the 700 block of Mill Street where a truck was parked facing northbound with its headlights on.  She said a pedestrian, Cooper Stone, appeared in front of her vehicle.  Stone was struck by Harvey's car, rolled up onto the hood and fell off onto the ground.

Stone had injuries to his chin, bottom lip, right elbow and right hip, but refused medical treatment after being checked by paramedics.
