Decorah woman and threes others inducted Monday into the NICC Hall of Fame

Decorah resident Georgie Klevar will be one of those honored

Northeast Iowa Community College's Calmar campus will induct four people into the NICC Hall of Fame at a ceremony that will start at 6:00 p.m. Monday in the Calmar Campus Wilder Center for Business & Industry.

NICC Calmar officials say the four people being recognized are:

--Decorah resident Georgie Klevar, NICC's continuing education and adult basic education director from 1973 to 2000.  Klevar also served as a liaison to the NICC president from 2000 to 2003 for the Postville community's adult literacy and English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) needs.
 
--Manchester resident Dr. Lon Butikofer, who is the chief executive officer of Regional Medical Center in Manchester.
 
--Fayette resident Delores Fagle Thom, a 1987 graduate of NICC who is the owner of Delores' Tax and Accounting in Fayette.
 
--Arizona resident Dr. Betty Heying-Stanley, a 1973 Practical Nursing graduate of NICC who is now the registered nurse refresher coordinator for Gateway Community College in Maricopa County, Phoenix, Arizona.
