The Oneota Historic Future Alliance is enlisting the help of Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts from Waukon and Decorah to move salvage materials from East Side School off the Luther Farm.

The hard fired exterior East Side bricks and soft Decorah kilned bricks will be moved from their storage place on the Luther farm on Pole Line Road to a new storage site which has yet to be determined.

OHFA has scheduled work days on Saturday, October 18th and Saturday, October 25th, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. each day.  OHFA is also looking for public volunteers to help with the move.

For more information, contact OHFA P.O. Box 375, Decorah, IA 52101 or OHFA Co-Treasurers Deborah Bishop 563-387-6905 or 563-379-6037 and Sean Devine-Meyer 563-379-9878.
