Five FFA members from South Winn and Turkey Valley have done well at a livestock judging contest for 7th through 10th graders.

There were 74 teams and 245 individuals competing at Kirkwood Community College.  Students judged two classes of swine, two classes of beef, one class of sheep and one class of goats.

A team consisting of Conner Trupe, Ryan Bullerman, Kenadee Schnuelle and Shaylee Brincks placed 11th overall, including second overall in beef and third overall in swine.  Conner Trupe placed 4th overall individually in beef judging.
