Winneshiek Medical Center announces entertainmnet for November 1st gala

Winneshiek Medical Center has announced the entertainment for its November 1st celebration of the hospital's 100th anniversary.

Las Vegas stand-up comedian and speaker Scott Pritchard will mix comedy with local history to celebrate the hospital's past, present and future.  

Pritchard grew up in northeast Iowa and attended North Winneshiek School.  In 2011, Pritchard took third in the national Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking, a contest with a pool of 35,000 competitors in 116 countries. He was the only US speaker to place.

The WMC Centennial Gala Celebration is planned for Saturday, November 1 at the Steyer Opera House at the Hotel Winneshiek, 100 years, to-the-day, that the doors of the hospital officially opened.  Tickets are $60 per person, and are available by calling the medical center at 563-387-5246 by Wednesday.
