The Decorah Parks and Recreation Department is looking for Legos!

The Decorah Park-Rec. Office is accepting Lego donations of any kind in hopes of launching a brand new program.   They hope to collect enough Legos to support offering a Lego building program.  Park-Rec officials say, "Please take time to look through your old boxes and toys--every little bit helps."

Playing with Legos has been shown to help children build creativity, and improve problem solving skills and teamwork.
 
Lego donations can be dropped off at the Park-Rec. Office at City Hall between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.  Donations are needed by the end of October, in time for the Park-Rec winter brochure , which is set to be released mid-November.
