NICC President Dr. Liang Chee Wee is honored

NICC President Dr. Liang Chee Wee has been named "Pacesetter of the Year" by District 5 of the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations.

The honor recognizes a president or CEO at a two-year community or technical college or district office who has demonstrated leadership and support in the area of college communications and marketing. As the District 5 recipient, Dr. Wee is now a candidate for the national honor, which will be announced next March.

The NICC marketing office also received Medallion Awards for two publications-- a gold for the College and Foundation's 2013 annual report and a silver for the NICC Foundation's "Inspire. Invest. Impact" casebook.
