Parks and Rec offers tailgate party for adults with special needs

Adults with special needs in the Decorah community are invited to register by 4:00 p.m. Friday to participate in an upcoming tailgate party at Luther College.

The next Get-2-Gether (G2G) Event for adults with special needs will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4th, prior to the Luther College football game against the University of Dubuque.   The tailgate will include food, games and free admission to the football game that afternoon.  The tailgate will take place on the grassy area near the tennis courts, at the North end of Carlson Stadium, where participants will be greeted by volunteers from the Luther College softball team.  This is a free event, but participants should register online at www.get2g.com, or in the Park Rec office by the end of business hours Friday.
