South Winn FFA members do well at competitions

Conner Trupe, Kelsey Hageman, Joclyn Bushman, Abby Ott, Ashley Baumler and Justin Hackman attended the National Barrow Show

South Winneshiek FFA members from South Winn and Turkey Valley have done well at two recent competitions.

Team members Conner Trupe, Kelsey Hageman, Joclyn Bushman and Justin Hackman placed 16th overall out of 59 teams at the National Barrow Show in Austin, Minnesota.  Teams were made up of students from 4-H and FFA chapters throughout the United States.  In individual competition Conner Trupe placed 23rd out of 192 students.  Also South Winn FFA members Abby Ott and Ashley Baumler participated in Swine Judging at the National Barrow Show.

South Winneshiek FFA members from South Winn and Turkey Valley also competed in Tri-State Dairy Judging, Northeast FFA District Dairy and Northeast District FFA Soils. The district team consisting of Josie Buddenberg, Ashley Baumler, Abby Ott and Jessica Schmitt placed 6th Overall.  Cole Phillips placed 6th Overall in the Northeast District FFA Soils competition.
