Two weeks to go to apply for mental health grants

The WMC Foundation is reminding the public that only two weeks remain until the deadline for filing a grant application with the Commemorative Fund for Community Mental Health.  The fund has been set up to support mental health initiatives within Winneshiek Medical Center's service area.  Grant funds are intended to support an existing program/project or creation of a new program/project that serve individuals and their caregivers who are experiencing difficulties connected to mental health-related issues.  Qualifying projects may include staff development, community education, resources for schools, or any number or creative ideas groups or individuals may have.
