Letter to the Editor from Winneshiek County Convention and Visitor's Bureau President

Winneshiek County Convention and Visitor's Bureau President Steve Luse has submitted the following Letter to the Editor:
 
"As president of the Winneshiek County Convention and Visitors Bureau, I am writing to share with county residents the happiness we on the Board have found working with Charlene Selbee, who since May 28 has been our new director.  She has been kept busy in the position handling the myriad of details involved in bringing visitors to our county, learning names and assuring procedures are in place to make our work with guests even more effective.
 
The immediate push of caring for our summer visitors is somewhat subsiding, so she is now working on other important tasks.  One such task includes notifying our current partners of the need to pay their regular, financial support for the visitor's center, its staff and the marketing activities done throughout the year.  If you have already received the request for your continued support, we would be very pleased if you would remit your payment soon.
 
If you have not previously been associated with the visitor center and our work, you are invited!  Please, come to the visitor center, meet Charlene, ask questions, and discover how you may be a partner in our endeavor.  Together we'll develop even stronger work and bring more guests to enjoy our beautiful sites.  That will mean more financial support of our county's varied businesses, attractions and events.
