Raffle tickets now being sold for "Celebration of Life"

Winneshiek County Celebration of Life has begun selling raffle tickets for its 16th annual fundraiser on October 17th.

Each raffle ticket gives a winner the choice of four prize packages, including $1,000 cash, a family package, a tailgating package and a "Lucky Lady" package.

Raffle tickets are $10 each and are on sale at Margaret's Boutique and other businesses throughout Winneshiek County.  The raffle drawing will be held at 6:50 p.m. on October 17th.  Winners need not be present to win.

Celebration of Life has helped 900 area women obtain free mammogram screenings since 2008.  It has also given $5,000 worth of fuel gift cards to local women who have to travel for cancer treatments.  All of the proceeds from October 17th's fundraiser will go to Celebration of Life programs.
