Luther College hires two visiting assistant professors and one visiting instructor

Luther has announced the appointments of three people to temporary positions--two as visiting assistant professors and one as a visiting instructor.

Elaine Bossard of West Liberty has been appointed a visiting assistant professor of psychology at Luther.  She was previously employed as a teaching assistant and an instructor at the University of Iowa. She taught courses on social psychology and a psychology lab on judgment and decision-making.

Xiaolin Duan of Seattle has been appointed a visiting assistant professor of history at Luther.  Duan was previously employed as an instructor at the University of Washington and the Chinese Art Curator Assistant at the Seattle Art Museum.

Brittany Cord of Decorah has been appointed a visiting instructor of accounting and management at Luther.  She was previously employed as an instructor at Northeast Iowa Community College where she taught introductory and intermediate level accounting classes. She has also served as a budget analyst and manager of financial planning at Texas A&M University.
