"Walking School Bus" volunteers needed

With the first day of school just around the corner,Northeast Iowa RSVP is looking for volunteers age 55 and older who areinterested in serving as Walking School Bus drivers.  The Walking School Bus driver will help walkstudents to school.  The Walking SchoolBus provides safety for the children while providing exercise for both thechild and volunteer. 

Currently, there is a need for volunteers on one routebefore school. The route would start in the W. Main St. neighborhood near DugRoad and walk to John Cline School each weekday morning. Plans are for thechildren to walk all year long with the exception of very cold or stormydays.
