North Winneshiek Passes the Test for No Child Left Behind

North Winneshiek School has passed all of the "Adequate Yearly Progress Benchmarks" for the 2013-2014 school year for the so-called "No Child Left Behind" program..  

3rd through 8th grade achievement rates indicate North Winneshiek students are achieving the highest in mathematics, followed by reading, and then science.
--Grades 3-5 met the Adequate Yearly Progress goal for reading and mathematics.  
--94.87 percent of the 3-5 graders were proficient in reading.
--89.74 percent of the 3-5 graders were proficient in mathematics.
--Grades 6-8 met the Adequate Yearly Progress goal for reading and mathematics.
73.33 percent of the 6-8 graders were proficient in reading.
--84.44 percent of the 6-8 graders were proficient in mathematics.
--100 percent of North Winneshiek students participated on the Iowa Assessments.

--4th grade students achieved at the equivalent of 4.9 graders.
--5th grade students achieved at the equivalent of 6.9 graders.
--6th grade students achieved at the equivalent of  6.8 graders.
--7th grade students achieved at the equivalent of  9.4 graders
--8th grade students achieved at the equivalent of 9.4 graders
