Three Decorah artists recognized by Vesterheim for their folk art

Three Decorah-area artists have received awards from Vesterheim Museum's annual "National Exhibition of Folk Art in the Norwegian Tradition."

The museum has recognized Stanley Finholt, Lindsay Lee and Mary Glock.

Finholt received a Red Ribbon for a wet-turned walnut bowl.  Lee received an Honorable Mention Award with a birch bark box.  Glock received a White Ribbon in weaving with a table runner in krokbragd technique, a traditional Scandinavian weave.
