Cyndi e-mails: "Why doesn't Nordic Fest have deep fat fried meat balls like we have at the Richland County Fair in Sidney, Montana?  I was told by a person at the booth there it is known at Luther College of this tradition."

Mr. Answer Person says, "Have you forgotten how this works?  In our community, meatballs are limited to Norwegian meatballs.  If any food is found that is deep fat friend, state law requires that we put it on a stick and send it to the Iowa State Fairgrounds!"
