A reader responds to letter about limited bike parking

A recent Letter to the Editor from Gerald Harvey about bike parking during Nordic Fest has prompted this Letter to the Editor from Chris Evenson):

"It isn't too hard to find bicycle parking in downtown Decorah.  Stop complaining people.  
 
Your picture is from Nordic Fest when the downtown streets are closed to vehicles, INCLUDING bicycles.  There is good reason for that.  The fest visitors on foot downtown in the cordoned off areas are safer without bikes & skateboards running over them.
 
If you take a look right now, ta da…..the bike rack is back."
