Oneota Historic Future Alliance wants the public to know it is currently selling materials reclaimed from the demolition of the East Side School. Bricks, stone, and dimensional lumber are available.
The group is trying to pay off a $9,600 debt to Winneshiek County by selling the materials.
There is a display of a few artifacts, art, and photos of materials reuse in the window of Sims Radio Shack, at the NE Iowa Peace & Justice Center, and at Perfect Edge Frame Shop.
Anyone interested in purchase of material or joining an investment group for development of products made from the material may write to OHFA at P.O. Box 375 or call 563-379-6037.
