Volunteers have begun planning an All-School Reunion in September to celebrate the 50th anniversary of North Winneshiek School.
The reunion will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 13th, at the North Winneshiek School. A noon potluck lunch will be followed a program and games for the entire family. In addition, a memorial wall will be created by family members to remember North Winn alumni who have died.
Following the reunion at the school Winneshiek Wildberry Winery will host a get together from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with music by KVIK. From 8:00 p.m. until midnight Barney's in Burr Oak will host a dance featuring the County Cousins.
Classes are being encouraged to organize a class get together on Friday, September 12th. Sunday, September 14th, a 4-person best shot golf tournament will be held at Silvercrest Country Club starting at 10:00 a.m. The cost is $9 for 9 holes of golf per person or $36 for the team. Cart rentals are $14.
