Nordic Fest opening ceremonies draw a big crowd

If there's anything that influences the number of people who attend Nordic Fest, it's the weather.

Thursday night's weather was perfect--cool temperatures and no rain.  As a result, a big crowd attended opening ceremonies, getting to watch the Luren Singers, the Nordic Dancers and the Scandinavian flag presentations.

Nordic Fest runs through Saturday night.
