Carl Homstad honored as Nordic Fest Grand Marshal

The 2014 Nordic Fest Grand Marshal was officially recognized on Thursday night.
Carl Homstad was selected because of his longtime connection to Nordic Fest, as well as for his community service. Nordic Fest Board President Randy Schissel in particular mentioned the murals Homstad has painted in Decorah, including the mural on Kephart's wall, showing the Nordic Fest parade.
