For the first time ever, Decorah Park-Rec is holding a summer carnival for adults with special needs

The Decorah Parks & Recreation Department is announcing plans for a "Get-2-Gether Summer Carnival"--the first-ever carnival for adults with special needs.

The Luther College football team will be assisting with this free event, which will be held Thursday, August 14th, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Whalen Cabin in Decorah's Phelps Park.  The carnival will include Mabe's Pizza, bingo, "Minute to Win It" games, bean bag toss and music by "The Buck Hollow Band."

The registration deadline for this event is Friday, August 1st.
