Iowa State Patrol responds to weekend motorcycle accident involving Decorah man

The Iowa State Patrol was called to Old Stage Road Friday night for a motorcycle accident.

Officers say 34-year-old Alex Bondar of Waukon tried to make a U-turn with his motorcycle near 143rd Avenue, but instead lost control.

Bondar was taken to Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon by the Winneshiek County Ambulance. He was ticketed for failure to have control of his vehicle.
