A bald eagle weekend in Decorah

Some 200 bald eagle fans visited Decorah over the weekend.

They stayed at Luther College and in local hotels. They heard speeches by Raptor Resource Project director Bob Anderson and by officials from Save Our Avian Resources. Most of all, they visited Decorah's bald eagle nest, Fish Hatchery and City Yard waste site where the eagles can be seen.
