Pickleball continues to gain interest in Decorah

The Decorah Parks and Recreation Department along with local Pickleball enthusiasts are continuing their efforts to find interested players and introduce the game to interested adults at the City Tennis Courts on Claiborne Dr. on a scheduled basis.  Interested participants are encouraged to join them at the following dates and times (weather permitting); 9:00am Wednesdays, 6:30pm Thursdays and 4:00pm Sundays for the rest of July and August.   

Pickleball is currently the fastest growing sport in the United States.  The rules and strategies of this sport which is a combination of tennis, badminton and ping pong will be explained and taught.  Adults of any ability level are invited, some equipment will be provided.
