"Progressive" antique show during Nordic Fest gets sign approval

There will be no official Nordic Fest Antique Show this year.  But five private antique dealers in Decorah have banded together to be open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday of Nordic Fest.

Since the antique dealers are working independently of the Nordic Fest Board, they are outside the parameters set by the City of Decorah for Nordic Fest.  That led to them applying for roadside sign permits from the city--which were approved Monday night by the Decorah City Council.
