Volunteers sought for the City of Decorah Historic Preservation Commission

If you;re interested in historic preservation, the City of Decorah wants to hear from you.

The city's Historic Preservation Commission has three openings out of the seven seats on the commission.  Benjamin Kratchmer has submitted his resignation to the Commission, joining two other Commission members who have resigned.

City officials say if you're interested in serving, you can download an application on the city's website.  You can also attend a meeting of the Commission at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday to get an idea of its work.
