Several changes underfoot for Decorah's business sector

This summer has been an unusually busy time for the small business sector in Decorah.  A number of changes have taken place or are about to happen:

--KD Rae Jewelry on Water Street changed hands as of last Tuesday.  Brent and Rachael Buresh have purchased the business from Denise Olds

--Dollar Tree will open soon in the former Wal-Mart building in Centrum Plaza.  Construction work is underway on a space next to Winneshiek True Value.

--Magpie Coffeehouse will be moving to the former Back Home Bakery location later this summer.

--A national company with a facility in Decorah says it will issue a news release next week, detailing a change in ownership for the business.

--The former Twice as Nice building now has three tenants in it--Preferred Appraisal Service,  Euro Team Physical Therapy and Crave Dance Studio.

--Good Times Grill has opened in Pyramid Plaza

--The Buffalo Boot Trading Post has closed its doors on Washington Street.
