The Luther College Student Activities Council has announced that country bands "Love and Theft" and "Gloriana" will perform at Luther on September 27th in the Regents Center.
The concert will open with a performance by CMT award-nominated country duo "Love and Theft." Celebrated for their distinctive style and sparkling harmonies, the band debuted with the single "Runaway" in 2009 and have since earned Platinum certification and a number one position on the U.S. country charts with "Angel Eyes," the first single off their self-titled album.
"Gloriana" will follow with their own performance. Composed of Rachel Reinert and brothers Tom and Mike Gossi, the critically acclaimed trio is widely known for their beautiful harmonies and lyrical conversations. They have charted with a number of Top 40 country hits and toured with acts such as Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts and Sheryl Crow.
Tickets for the performance are $30 and will go on sale Thursday, September 11th. They can be purchased by calling the Ticket Office at (563) 387-1357; or by visiting the Luther Ticket Office, open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9-10:30 a.m. and 11a.m.-3 p.m.; and Tuesday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., with extended hours on Thursdays, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
