Decorah Police, Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department to participate in "Click It or Ticket" campaign starting Tuesday

A nationwide "Click It or Ticket" special law enforcement drive begins Tuesday.

Decorah Police and Winneshiek County Sheriffs will be part of the campaign, which is aimed at getting the public to use seat belts.  A news release from the Decorah Police states, "The Decorah Police Department continues to stress to the motoring public the importance of buckling up, slowing down and the need to drive soer to increase the odds of preventing or at least surviving a crash.  Nuckle up, be safe and enjoy your Fourth of July."
