Voltmer Electric awarded Mason City Airport lighting project

Decorah's Voltmer Electric has been awarded a contract to rehabilitate runway lighting and improve electrical equipment at the Mason City Airport.

U.S. Senator Tom Harkin says the project at the airport will get a boost from a $600,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation.  Said Harkin, "I am pleased that Mason City has received funds to improve the airport and I look forward to the benefits it will bring to the local economy".
