Wicks Construction awarded $3.8 million contract in Fort Dodge

Wicks Construction of Decorah has been awarded the contract for the first phase of a crosstown road in Fort Dodge.  The contract is worth $3,806,344.40.

The work will be done on First Avenue South in Fort Dodge and will include a roundabout intersection at Sixth Street.

City officials in Fort Dodge for a number of year have been discussing the need for a crosstown road.
