Decorah Police, Wal-Mart security working together on shoplifting cases

The Decorah Police Department says it has made 12 shoplifting arrests at the Decorah WalMart from May 24th through June 22nd.

A news release from the police department says those arrested have been referred to the court system.  Says the news release, "The Decorah Police Department works closely with the WalMart loss prevention team to ensure that anyone apprehended for shoplifting is held responsible for their actions under the Iowa Criminal Code."
