Branstad proclaims Friday is "Eagle Day"

Decorah residents know a thing or two about eagles.  The famous Decorah bald eagle webcam has been viewed over 300 million times since it started five years ago.

In recognition of the animal that made Decorah famous, Friday is "American Eagle Day" in Iowa.  Governor Terry Branstad has signed a proclamation recognizing "The bald eagle was once endangered with possible extinction and is making a gradual and encouraging comeback to America's skies."
