Heavy rains are causing problems

Northeast Iowa continues to be hit by rounds of thunderstorms, with heavy rains.
The National Weather Service Office in La Crosse says basements in Ossian have flooded. The Weather Service reports 3.67 inches of rainfall in Fort Atkinson and 4.9 inches of rainfall just east of Ossian. Allamakee County has also been hard hit by storms--3.2 inches of rainfall was reported in Harpers Ferry.
