City, county renew dispatching agreement

The City of Decorah and Winneshiek County have renewed their agreement covering the Law Enforcement Center's dispatching services.  The new agreement will run through June of 2015.

The cost of the dispatch center is pro-rated between the two governments, based on usage.  Over the last four years the calls to the Law Enforcement Center have averaged 55 percent for the Decorah Police Department and 45 percent for the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department.
