Several area businesses will benefit from the sale of New Jobs Training bonds by NICC

13 businesses in Northeast Iowa will benefit from $3,750,000 in Industrial New Jobs training certificates.  The training projects are estimated to bring more than 480 jobs to the NICC district.

"We are very happy to be able to work with businesses in our area to fund training that provides new skills to workers and, in turn, increases business productivity and profitability," noted NICC's Dr. Wendy Mihm-Herold.
 
The training programs will create 33 jobs at Deco Products Company of Decorah, 60 jobs at Featherlite Industries in Cresco, 22 jobs at Lynch Livestock, Inc. in Waucoma, 24 jobs at Monona Wire Corporation and 43 jobs at TriMark Corporation in New Hampton, among area businesses.
