The NICC Board of Trustees has voted to extend the contract of NICC President Dr. Liang Chee Wee by another year. Wee's contract will now run through June 30th of 2017. The NICC Board has approved a total salary and compensation package of $230,000 for 2014-2015.
Trustees also have approved an agreement ratified earlier by the NICC Support Staff Association for their 2014-2015 contract. The agreement provides a total package increase of 4.58 percent. It includes a $150 per month increase in the employee contribution toward family health insurance.
Finally, the NICC Board also has approved a 3.5 percent increase in total compensation for NICC non-bargaining employees, including a $150 per month increase in the employee contribution to family health insurance.
