Decorah Lutheran Church's recent Vacation Bible School for kindergarten through 7th grade students was a week of songs, Bible Stories, Bible verses, craft activities--and support for the "Operation Christmas Child" program.
The Vacation Bible School offering went to support the "Operation Christmas Child" project and shoe boxes were assembled to be distributed through Samaritan's Purse International Relief.
This year's theme was "Amazing Grace Adventures." 7th grade students spent each morning at Wellington Place, interacting with the residents. They assisted the residents with planting flowers, playing games, as well as getting to know the residents and making new friends. They even celebrated the birthday of a 105-year-old resident.
