New businesses are popping up in Decorah

The Decorah City Council on Monday night will be asked to approve several sign permits for new businesses under the city's Commercial Design Review ordinance.

The former Twice As Nice location at 110 Washington Street has been bought by Lisa and Steve Krieg of Decorah.  The City's Planning and Zoning Commission is recommending sign permits be issued for Euro Team Physical Therapy, Preferred Appraisal Services and Crave Dance Studio in the building.

A sign permit has also been recommended for K'uun Coffee at 118 Washington Street, which also houses The Perfect Edge.

Finally, the Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended a sign permit for Burke Auto Repair, which will be located at 403 W. Day Spring Lane.
