"DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILDREN IN THE FALL 2014 SCHOOL TERM UNTIL CONGRESS HAS MADE OUR SCHOOLS SAFE!
As a parent, grandparent and concerned human being, I am sick of our children being killed and maimed through gun violence. June 10th's latest school shooting in Oregon tipped me over the edge to demand gun laws that will protect our children.
I am speaking for myself and do not represent any organization. Maybe you have other and better ideas. If so, please share them. Something needs to be done to protect our children. I am proposing that every parent, grandparent and guardian in the United States refuse to enroll their children in the Fall 2014 school term until Congress passes gun safety laws that will protect our children and ensure them their right to safely attend school and the right to walk safely down streets, through neighborhoods, town and cities. Aren't you also sick of losing our children?"
