Sunday, June 15th, is the last day to order an engraved brick to be placed on the entrance wall of the Humane Society of Northeast Iowa's new Adoption Center.
Bricks can be engraved for a $250 donation. One time and three-year pledges are available. See hsnei.org for more details.
HSNEI broke ground on the center Saturday. Construction will continue this summer with the goal of opening in September. Over $577,000, or 96 percent of the capital campaign goal, has been raised.
The HSNEI Adoption Center is at 2345 Millennium Road in Decorah. The 4,700 square foot facility will allow HSNEI to care for up to 100 animals at a time until they find their homes. Volunteers from surrounding communities will have the opportunity to interact with dogs and cats.
