Children's summer reading program starts Monday

Decorah Public Library's children's summer reading program, "Fizz! Boom! Read!", will start Monday and run through July 17th.

Kids achieving the goal of reading for at least 15 hours during that time period will be rewarded a free library T-shirt designed by 6th grader Kalea Oftedahl and sponsored by the Friends of the Decorah Public Library. Additional rewards of free food coupons from McDonald's, Pizza Hut and Pizza Ranch will also be available.

Summer reading program entertainment will be featured each week.
